Advanced Open Water
To what depths do you want to take your adventure? No matter what your goal, the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course gives you the confidence, skills and experience for a whole new level of underwater exploration; all under the guidance of a PADI Pro.
As you step beyond the Open Water Diver level you'll dive five times over two or more days and have the opportunity to try (at your instructors discretion), underwater navigation, night diving, deep diving, digital underwater photography, wreck diving and much more. Plus the Advanced Open Water Divers course will take you one step closer to Master Scuba Diver – the ultimate recreational diving rating.

Who's eligible to take the course?
The new and experienced open water certified diver can take the course. Maybe you have a desire for additional training, meeting new divers or just looking for a fun weekend at the lake. We guarantee all 3!
- Certified as PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver
- 10-11 years old to participate in these Adventure Dives: Altitude, AWARE-Fish identification, Boat, Digital Underwater Photography, Dry Suit, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Naturalist and Underwater Videographer.
- 12 years old to participate in all other Adventure Dives, except the Sidemount Adventure Dive.
- 15 years old may participate in the Sidemount Adventure Dive
Note: 10-11 year old divers may earn a Junior Adventure Diver certification.
12-14 year old divers may earn a Junior Adventure Diver or Junior Advanced Open Water Diver Certification.
