My diving experiences started when I was a junior in High School, and it was through The Dive Shop I earned my YMCA Scuba Diver certification. A couple of years later I had an opportunity to join The Dive Shop earning both my PADI and NAUI instructor certifications. While working at The Dive Shop, I taught locally and at some of the nearby universities. In addition to teaching, I spent time as a commercial diver conducting repairs and inspections primarily for KCP&L in the Missouri River.

Having dove reefs in the warm clear waters of the Caribbean and shipwrecks in the cold dark waters of the Great Lakes, I enjoy the varied experiences that diving has to offer. As I think about it, diving the Cooper River for Megalodon sharks teeth and Mastodon molars are some of my more memorable dives.
